This is the second disc of the Crisis double album. This release consists of the debris from disc one that deserve a home. Play them while you're in bed, stare at your plain ceiling and hope to god for change while continuously doing nothing in aid of your cause.
Let the repetition reside in your emptiness and maybe we'll finally learn how to connect on a genuine level.
I'm sorry for everything and I love you, all of you; I'm still just learning how to do it.
This album was originally intended to be called "Maria." The album was meant to be a fleshed out and a standalone piece but everything has a tendency of collapsing, restarting, and repeating. So in dedication to Maria Sweeney, this "album" is part 2 of Crisis, and unofficially entitled "Maria." Maria was on my couch was a fiddled with pedals and strings to compose a lot of these tracks. She's has always been here for me and so, a lot of these ended up being a tribute to her love of minimalism in music.
I get some solace knowing that this release is for her and I hope some of you will find some solace in the simplicity in all of this.
